Generally speaking you can usually find the same types of betting opportunities and odds that you’d find online. If you’re in a country or location where physical bookmakers are hard to find, the you can go online and sports trade with any number of online bookmakers. First of all, I would recommend that you focus on a sport that you enjoy watching and that you have some knowledge or experience around. For example my first sports trading was on greyhounds. Many of you probably already have my book; The Two Trap Greyhound System, if not go to my site and grab your copy now.

Let’s say you chose soccer as the sport to focus on. Learn all you can in the statistics, and the performance of teams. If you can, look at the less popular and the lower leagues, there’s often good value to be found in those markets. Just specialise on two or three markets, the straightforward win-draw market is often a popular market, but it may not always be the most profitable. Have a look at side markets, such as correct score, or overs and unders.

When you find a market you’re comfortable with stick with it. When you start placing your first sports bets or trades start with low stakes. This will help with learning how to trade or bet as well as get used to managing your sports betting bank. Always remember not to bet with money you can’t afford to lose! As you become more experienced and professional or a keen amateur the amount you can afford to risk will increase. As a general rule most professionals will build up their betting bank and then use around 2% as their stake in any single bet. This can be adjusted, down, based on your confidence in the bet.

Keep a track of your finances and results in your sports netting or trading activities. Also open a few online betting accounts with various bookmakers this will let you back your selections at the bookmaker with the best available odds. You shoild also include a betting exchange site in your bookmakers accounts. This will allow you not only to use their sportsbook, but also to lay bets. I hope you found this information helpful.
