Betting exchanges let you bet on goal minutes for when you judge a goal may get scored. It’s usual for them to offer lay odds around 6.0 –6.8 that there will be no goal scored in the opening 10 minutes of a match.
This can be a risky strategy, but if you follow this method you might still have a tiny risk but it’s rare you will go more than 2 matches in a row that this strategy doesn’t work.
Strategy 1 Steps
- Only Live televised matches qualify
- Home and Away teams placed within backing odds range of 1.5, 30 to 60 minutes before kick off. (eg Spurs 2.5 vs QPR 1.95 => is 2.5-1.95 = 5.5; so match qualifies)
- Lay the bet of a goal in the first 10 minutes
Strategy 2 Steps
- List ALL televised games on any TV network in order of kick-off time
- If matches start at the same time use the subtraction method to place them in order. (eg two matches starting at 12:30pm using the subtraction method match A is 3.5, match B is 4.0; match B is placed before match A in order)
- Follow the matches from the kick-off times. You are watching for the match that has a goal in the first 10 minutes
- Wait until the match with the goal in first 10 minutes occurs
- At this point this is your notice to place a lay bet on the next match in the sequence of matches.
- If no match on the list for that day results in a goal in 1-10 minutes, do not lay any matches. Wait for the match with a goal in the first 10 minutes.
Strategy 2 uses the law of averages that a goal in the next match inside 10 minutes is unlikely, given how many matches are in the sequence.
