Wet conditions do often favour wide runners, and dogs on the inside could find it heavier going. It can also help to trade on younger greyhounds. Often, dogs with less than 20 runs will tend to improve over time.

The more settled and older greyhounds may tend to “sit back” later in the race. Also, some trainers dog’s do better at some race tracks than others.

Trainers with a great track record at a certain track can often produce winning dogs time and time again.
